Currently users can access the WhatsApp only on the Google Chrome. According to the company it is the only browser that will work with the web client at present. We can expect to add the remaining browsers to add to the list soon.

“The web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device — this means all of your messages still live on your phone,” the company said.Inorder to connect the web browser to the WhatsApp client, users simply have to open https://web.whatsapp.com in Chrome where an QR code appears. You have to scan the QR code to connect your WhatsApp client to the desktop version.  The users’s phone should be connected to the internet for the webclient to work and the company recommends to install the latest version of the app before connecting it to the desktop.
WhatsApp which is one of the most used messaging app with this step seems to reach a even more larger section of the people.
